Sound Encounters

Exploring the psychophysical effects of sound in public spaces
Welcome to Sound Encounters, where we invite you to explore the invisible world of sound through a unique visual lens.
In a world predominantly perceived through sight, we often overlook the intangible nature of sound. What if we could transform this elusive quality into something tangible, something we can see and be more aware of?

Inspired by personal experiences, particularly during travels on the tube, we've documented our daily sound encounters. The project is an intimate exploration based on individual feelings, visualising sound as a graphic score that reflects our emotional responses.
"Mind the gap"

is a short animation on my experience with sounds encounters in public space like the tube. how sound affect our relationships, quality of conversations and communication.
